How does my subscription work?+
Carby plans are charged through the place where you bought them. App Store purchases are managed by Apple. Web purchases are handled by Stripe and use your Carby unlock code in the app. Weekly and yearly plans renew automatically; lifetime access is one payment.
Will my subscription renew automatically?+
Yes, weekly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Lifetime access does not renew.
Do I need an iPhone?+
No. Your full web plan works in any browser at trycarby.com/my-plan. The iPhone app is optional, and there is no Android app yet.
I already purchased Carby — why is it asking me to pay again?+
Do not pay again. This usually means the app has not found the purchase yet. If you paid on web, paste your CARBY- unlock code in the app. If you paid through Apple, make sure you are using the same Apple ID and try restore purchases. If it still happens, email support with your code or receipt.
Why was I charged an additional subscription?+
The most common reason is that a purchase was started in more than one place, such as Apple and Stripe web checkout. Each platform bills separately. Send us the receipt or invoice and we will help identify which subscription created the charge.
If I delete the app, will my subscription cancel automatically?+
No. Deleting Carby removes the app from your phone, but it does not cancel an Apple or Stripe subscription. You need to cancel from the same place where you purchased.
How can I cancel my subscription?+
For App Store purchases, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Carby, then cancel. For web Stripe purchases, email us with the purchase email or invoice and we will help cancel the web subscription.
How can I get a refund?+
Web Stripe purchases: email us within 30 days of the charge and we refund you — our 30-day guarantee. App Store purchases go through Apple's refund flow. Full details on the refund policy page.
Why can't I find my subscription in the App Store?+
It may be under a different Apple ID, it may have expired, or you may have purchased on the web through Stripe instead of Apple. Check the Apple ID used for purchase first; if you paid on web, use your CARBY- unlock code in the app.
I bought Carby — what should I do next?+
If you bought on web, open your plan on /my-plan first. Keep your CARBY- unlock code if you also want to download the iPhone app and unlock the same purchase there.
How do I access Carby in the app?+
Free planning does not require a login. Web checkout opens your plan on trycarby.com after payment. If you came from the web quiz, paste the SETUP- code on the first app screen to link the install. If you bought access on web, paste the CARBY- unlock code from checkout. For help, email hey@trycarby.com.
